Western Red Cedar is the ideal material for decking. Light and easy to work with, WRC is also pitch and resin free and takes stains and oils extremely well. It can also be left unfinished to turn a silvery-gray patina over time. Unlike composite decking, WRC won’t heat up in the sun, so it stays cool underfoot. PFP cedar decking is available in clear and knotty grades; 5/4” and 2” sizes (all lengths and widths) and surfaced S$S and radius edged.
